Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, or exhibited at the 2026 Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival! The festival was a success, with 25 hands-on exhibits and over 450 attendees from 12 communities hosted on October 8th at the Youth Development Center in Monticello. We hope to see everyone back for our next event!

Why Exhibit?
Exhibitor registration is free, we simply ask that exhibitors provide a hands-on STEM activity for youth and families to enjoy. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the community, inspire young minds, and showcase STEM in a fun and interactive way!

Exhibit Ideas
There are endless possibilities where the wonders of STEM come alive for students and families, including:

The Northeast Iowa Family STEM Festival is a community-wide partnership led by the Northeast Region of the Iowa Governor's STEM Advisory Council at the University of Northern Iowa, in partnership with Monticello Community School District, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach - Jones County, Jones County Economic Development and the City of Monticello Parks and Recreation Department.
